Weymouth Marina has been awarded International Clean Marina accreditation by The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA). The milestone reflects the marina’s commitment to sustainable practices and the protection of coastal and inland waters.

The marina features over 250 berths up to 19.9-metre in length, modern washroom facilities, car parking and a boatpoint office providing buy and sell opportunities. The TYHA Clean Marina programme supports marinas in achieving and maintaining environmental standards. The accreditation focuses on key areas such as blackwater capture and treatment, waste management, spill prevention and response, washdown filtration, drainage interception and overall pollution prevention. The programme also encourages tenants, contractors and boaters to adopt more sustainable practices.

Weymouth Marina is under Boatfolk, a UK-based marina group that manages 11 marinas across the country. The Boatfolk community is dedicated to reducing environmental impact through initiatives that address marine wildlife protection, plastic pollution, clean water efforts and the use of renewable energy.
