Savannah Harbour Marina will feature a total of 95 berths, including 20 dedicated to large vessels. The marina will also provide amenities tailored to the needs of modern boaters. Key features include in-slip diesel and gasoline fueling, single-phase and three-phase shore power, Wi-Fi, customs and immigration services, provisioning support and black water pump-out facilities.
Additional services include laundry, technical assistance, electric vehicle charging stations, golf cart transportation and marina concierge services. A guest reception office, on-site parking, ATM access and convenient links to water taxis will further enhance the visitor experience.
Located six miles from the Intracoastal Waterway, the marina’s location is another key advantage. Boaters will have access to the Savannah district, known for its streets, boutique shopping, restaurants and arts scene.
After a bidding process, IGY Marinas selected Meeco Sullivan as the supplier of dock systems. Meeco Sullivan manufactured the aluminium docks in Georgia, which were engineered to offer stability and withstand the dynamic conditions of Savannah’s busy waterways, providing long-term value for the marina and its stakeholders.
The Savannah Harbour Marina is poised to become a hub for both superyachts and recreational boaters and is set to become a landmark addition to IGY’s global marina network and a destination for boaters in the U.S. and beyond.
