TransEurope Marinas has expanded its network with the addition of Portland Marina and Jersey Marinas, further strengthening its presence in the UK and the Channel Islands. The company made the announcement on 15 April 2025, highlighting both marinas' commitment to offering boating experiences in Europe.

Portland Marina joins TransEurope network

Located on the iconic Jurassic Coast in Dorset, Portland Marina stands out as a destination for boaters from across the UK and beyond. With nearly 500 berths, the marina offers services including a fully equipped boatyard, fuel dock, chandlery, modern washrooms and a popular waterfront restaurant.

The marina’s position within the sheltered Portland Harbour provides direct access to the sailing hotspots of Weymouth Bay, the English Channel and the Jurassic Coast.

Marina Manager at Portland Marina, Tom Darby-Ralph, shared:

“We’re thrilled to be joining the TransEurope Marinas network and are proud to represent the beautiful Jurassic Coast as part of this fantastic community. At Portland Marina, we’re committed to delivering a top-tier experience for our berth holders and visiting boaters, and being part of this well-respected network further enhances the service we can offer. We’re excited about the opportunities this brings for our team and our customers, and we look forward to welcoming more TransEurope members to Portland.”

Jersey Marinas rejoins the TransEurope family

Jersey Marinas brings a unique cruising advantage to the network, with proximity to the Channel Islands and the Brittany and Normandy coasts. Previously a member during the TransManche Marinas era, Jersey Marinas had stepped away from the group in 2013 due to changes in management but is now returning to the fold.

Michel Le Moine, Customer Experience Manager for Jersey Marinas, stated:

“Jersey Marinas are very excited to be re-joining the TransEurope family after many years apart. With such an extensive network of prestigious marinas ranging from the Baltic to the Mediterranean and the Canaries, this presents not only a fantastic opportunity for the more adventurous Jersey boat owners but also for the Jersey Marina team to offer a warm welcome to old friends and new customers to some of the finest cruising grounds in Northern Europe.”

Our network is a great platform for shared learning and growth, where each connection brings valuable insights. We all recognise that expansion is jointly rewarding, supporting individual marinas and enriching our collective vision with fresh perspectives.”
