Following a successful 2025 edition that welcomed visitors from over 20 countries, organisers of the Thailand International Boat Show have confirmed that the event will return to Phuket Yacht Haven Marina (PYH) from 15 to 18 January 2026. The Thailand Yachting Conference will take place one day prior, on 14 January.

David Hayes, CEO of Thailand International Boat Show organisers JAND Events, stated a positive response after moving the event to Phuket Yacht Haven Marina in 2025.

“We made a strategic decision this year to move the event to the Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, and that decision paid off. With more space we were able to expand the show both in-the-water and onshore as well as offer a more engaging visitor experience, and the feedback from both exhibitors and visitors has been extremely positive.”

“We are delighted to confirm that we will remain at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina for 2026 and beyond, and we will work closely with the marina team to build on this year’s success to create an even bigger and better show for all in 2026.”

In response to feedback from exhibitors and industry stakeholders, the 2026 event has been scheduled one week later than in previous years. The new timing is intended to avoid peak boating season, allow exhibitors more preparation time after the New Year and facilitate the showcasing of larger vessels.

The venue, Phuket Yacht Haven, is a comprehensive marina in Southeast Asia. Located in the northeast of Phuket, PYH offers 332 berths accommodating vessels up to over 100-metre. In 2023, 18 new-generation Marinetek pontoons were installed, creating 12 additional berths for vessels up to 50-metre.

PYH is recognised as a safe haven due to its sheltered natural surroundings and provides facilities including a clubhouse, commercial units, accommodation, workshops, a spa, a gym and swimming pool. Additional services include 24-hour security, fuelling, firefighting systems, Wi-Fi, golf cart transport, waste disposal and shower amenities.

Looking ahead, organisers have set ambitious targets for the 2026 edition. Plans include welcoming over 70 boats, increasing the presence of superyachts, expanding onshore displays and introducing enhanced interactive experiences, all while ensuring a sustainable approach to event operations. Early bird offers for exhibitors are now available via the official website.

On 14 January, the Thailand Yachting Conference will kick off the week-long event, featuring panel discussions led by industry professionals, government representatives and marine enthusiasts. The conference aims to foster collaboration and share insights, focusing on shaping the national and global yachting industry.

Hayes also stated, “This isn’t just about putting on a show—it’s about creating a platform for real growth and collaboration in the leisure marine industry across the region.”
