Set to open in late 2025, the marina is designed to become a premier destination for boaters, offering an all-encompassing suite of facilities. The resort will include Nassau’s only dry storage facility, alongside wet slip memberships.

The dry storage facility is designed to withstand Category 5 hurricane wind speeds. The foundation includes over 300 auger-cast piles, each 16-inch in diameter and driven more than 12-metre (40-feet) deep into solid rock layers.

The piles are arranged in clusters, with some supporting as many as five auger-cast piles per column, creating a resilient base designed for both vertical and lateral loads.

Lead Developer of Legendary Marina Resort, Rodney Chamberlain, stated: “At Legendary Marina Resort, Blue Water Cay, we are dedicated to providing the finest marina facilities anywhere. The erection of the dry storage facility is a milestone that represents the culmination of years of permitting, design, fabrication and now, construction.”

As construction continues, the dry storage facility represents more than just a structural feat, it also signals the next phase of development in what is expected to be one of Nassau’s most advanced marine resorts.
