With the expansion, Freedom Boat Club now operates 40 locations across Europe, contributing to its global network of over 410 locations. Strategically situated in Puerto Banús, the new Freedom Boat Club location will offer members easy access to a variety of Brunswick-owned vessels.

Puerto Banús Marina is equipped with moorings, a refuelling station, a waste collection service, 24-hour security, Wi-Fi and firefighting services. The marina also offers a Travelift of 50 tonnes, a mobile crane of 6 tonnes, and a dedicated boat repair area. The addition of Freedom Boat Club strengthens the marina’s role as a gateway to the Mediterranean’s cruising grounds.

Arturo Gutierrez, general manager of Freedom Boat Club for the EMEA region, stated, “The addition of Marbella expands Freedom Boat Club’s European locations, offering members more choices for embarking on new adventures along the stunning coastlines.”

He added that the new site is expected to boost tourism, stimulate local marine-related commerce, and support the maritime economy of the region.

To mark the launch, Freedom Boat Club will host a series of exclusive open house events, where prospective members can tour the fleet and learn more about the club’s offerings. Event dates and registration details will be announced soon.

As Freedom Boat Club deepens its European footprint, Puerto Banús Marina stands to benefit from increased visibility, elevated prestige and greater foot traffic. The collaboration represents not just a new chapter for the club but a significant boost for the marina and Marbella’s yachting appeal.
