The Port of Dover is getting ready to accommodate vessels up to 350-metre in length for the first time. The development project is worth £6 million plus, and is part of the port’s long-term vision to 2050.

With a legacy dating back over 400 years, the Port of Dover continues to evolve. The port will welcome some of the largest cruise ships in the world. The expansion enhances its capacity for future cruise traffic and positions it as a leading player in the international cruise industry.

Head of Cruise at the Port, Peter Wright, expressed his excitement, stating, "We are delighted to share this exciting news with the industry, which demonstrates our long-term commitment to being one of the UK’s leading cruise destinations. My thanks go to our engineering and operations teams for delivering this key project."

The Port of Dover’s Cruise team will be attending Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami from 7-10 April 2025 on stand 2013 to discuss the latest developments and opportunities from Dover.
