Marina Bahia Golfito welcomed the legendary superyacht Christina O in January 2025.
The superyacht Christina O was originally commissioned in 1943 and gained recognition when acquired by Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis in 1954. Onassis transformed the vessel into a symbol of luxury and exclusivity. Christina O hosted world leaders and celebrities such as Jacqueline Kennedy, Winston Churchill, Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly.
The vessel remains a floating testament to refined design and classic opulence with features like a swimming pool, dance floor, jacuzzi and a VIP suite.
Marina Bahia Golfito also hosted a group of international brokers along with the arrival of Christina O. Guests were treated to an exclusive and immersive experience that blended the history of Christina O with Costa Rica’s Golfo Dulce.
